Patient Caregiver Support App

With this application, the goal is to empower caregivers with timely, accurate, and accessible information to support loved ones through cancer treatment, improving care coordination, reducing stress, and enhancing overall quality of life. With the urgency associated with healthcare, I prioritized utilizing AI to optimize speed to delivery on this application.

PROJECT GOAL

Deliver an interactive prototype utilizing an AI-integrated workflow, while prioritizing the needs of .

ROLE

My role was product manager, AI prompt engineer, and design strategist.

Starting with Strategy

To begin my AI workflow, I served a series of prompts to Microsoft Co-Pilot to help me get started. I included requests for a high level vision, philosophy, guiding principles, product strategy, and proposed product roadmap with high level user stories.

The initial output took minutes to generate, which I refined to the result on the right.

Documenting product requirements and workflows

•Product framework including Mission, Vision, and Values helped convey the intention of the caregiver support application.

•User flows (generated by Claude) helped capture the essential steps needed for interaction.

•User stories were documented to help outline the key interactions and acceptance criteria.

•An iterative roadmap helped document features to be added over the first fiscal year.

Using the Strategy to prompt design

•Using the documented Product Strategy and user flows generated by Claude, these assets were fed to Lovable to create proof of concept clickable prototypes

•The prototypes generated were used to help visualize the concept and identify opportunity gaps for enhancement.

Next Steps

  • Use generated prototype for rapid usability testing with a randomly selected cohort of users

  • Document user feedback in Dovetail or Notion

  • Feed user feedback to AI to summarize findings and glean outcomes.

  • Verify AI findings and prompt agent to iterate based on refined user feedback.
